Dr Kirstie MacGill

Dr Kirstie MacGill is a highly experienced and well respected Specialist Plastic Surgeon with a primary interest in reconstructive plastic surgery. She trained in Melbourne and undertook fellowships in Scotland and Texas. 

She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr MacGill is passionate about providing high quality, patient-centred care. 

Her areas of interest include the management of skin cancers, breast conditions hand problems and all aspects of paediatric plastic surgery. 

Dr MacGill's public hospital appointments include The Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Royal Children's Hospital and Box Hill Hospital. 

In her career she has held positions of responsibility including Head of Unit at Box Hill Hospital, Supervisor of Surgical Training, Director of Junior Surgical Training at Royal Melbourne Hospital and as an Examiner in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. 

This year she stopped private hospital practice to have more time for other activities, including being President of Interplast ANZ and Co-Chair of Curriculum Review Committee for the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. 

Dr MacGill consults every four weeks at Wonthaggi Hospital on a Monday.
